can you be BLACK and look at this, elizabeth alexander questions. if the piece does not reflect in ways easily detected, if reflection is muted, what does that mean in the context of the series? (and muted is a sonic term, so what of that with regard to the visual?) still thinking about identity in a neoliberal context but also the sound of otherwise relationality.
