“i will fear no evil … (number 1)” — ORIGINAL (2019)

i kept hearing ‘yea though i walk’ and ‘i will fear no evil’ continually, so i wanted to sense what would emerge by letting the words and sounds resonate. especially given this world and this particular moment, one wherein various practices of racial-gender-class antagonisms would have so many of us live in and cower to and be shamed by what powers of violence and inequity do to us, do to marginalize and oppress us, it feels important to declare the refusal to let evil be that around which we constitute ourselves.
